This year, Massey University is holding a one-day Women in Leadership conference which will be open to ALL members of staff. The theme of this event will be ‘Resilience: Building Connections’. This conference will be held on Thursday 3rd August from 10-4pm in the Sir Geoffrey Peren Auditorium, Manawatu campus. It is intended that in future years we will host the conference on the Wellington and Albany campuses.
You are invited to come and participate in this event, listen to our guest speakers, Massey’s own experts on resilience and wellbeing and network with colleagues. The focus of the day’s events will be on how we can support each other to build and sustain personal and professional resilience and how we can transform this into the practice of our day-to-day lives. We hope to see you there!
Our guest speakers will be:
Professor Sue Carthew, Provost, Charles Darwin University
Professor Kathryn McPherson, Chief Executive, Health Research Council
There will be concurrent sessions in the afternoon covering: ‘Fostering Mindfulness’, ‘Values and Strengths’ and ‘Health and Wellbeing’.
