A delegation from China’s top-ranking university visited Massey University’s Auckland campus this week.

The group of three senior staff from Tsinghua University were invited by the University’s Professional and Continuing Education centre, which has offered international short courses for more than 30 years.

The parties discussed collaborating in the future, including offering student exchange programmes and jointly hosting short-term training courses.

The visit follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts and Design and Massey University last year in Beijing. Massey University first visited the Academy at Tsinghua University in June 2015 when the possibility of closer engagement was first raised.
