A record number of potential students experienced campus life at Massey University’s Auckland campus Open Day on Saturday. Almost 1000 students registered before the event and on the day – making it the most successful Auckland Open Day to date.

It followed the University’s first Open Day held at the Manawatū campus earlier this month, where more than 1500 people explored what the University has on offer. Wellington’s Open Day will be held on Friday, September 1.

More than 500 ping pong balls flew into the air during the ping pong explosion on the grass outside the Library, pulling the crowds in and showing off the fun side of chemistry.

Fire and ice science shows, virtual and augmented reality experiences, robotics demonstrations, accommodation tours and presentations gave attendees the opportunity to experience life at Massey.

Information sessions and workshops on scholarships, postgraduate study, accommodation, budgeting, student exchanges and studying by distance were also well attended.
