Early Years Symposium:  “A discussion on inclusion in the Early Years”

Early Years teachers are warmly invited to participate in a symposium hosted by Tātai Angitu, Massey University.

The Symposium will include a range of inspirational workshops to support teachers to further develop strategies to strengthen the provision of quality inclusive practices for diverse learners in early years education.

DATE:    Saturday 1 August 2018

TIME:    9.30 am - 2.00 pm

VENUE:  Practical Teaching Complex, Massey University Manawatū Campus, Tennent Drive, Palmerston North

COST:    $20.00 (incl GST) per person/$60.00 (incl GST) per team

Symposium Programme:

9.30-10.00 am             Registration/Welcome/Tea, coffee and muffins

10.00-11.00 am           "Understanding and supporting diverse learning needs"

11.15 am - 12.15 pm   "Planning for curriculum using intentional teaching practices"

12.15-1.00 pm             LUNCH (provided)

1.00-2.00 pm               "Exploring Māori and Pasifika cultural perspectives on inclusion"
