Who can give to Massey?

Anyone can give to Massey.

Most of our benefactors are alumni or staff. However, even if you’re not an alumnus or staff member, you can give to a world-leading organisation in several academic disciplines, such as veterinary science. Whatever your area of interest, it's highly likely it's being taught, practised or researched somewhere at Massey. Or you can choose to help students in any discipline who don’t have the financial means to come here.

What can I give to?

You can give to the scholarship fund which allows students who would otherwise be unable to afford university study the opportunity to maximise their potential at Massey. It also allows us to attract exceptional postgraduate students to study here.

You can also give to any of several specialist sub-trusts we’ve created to support specific areas of learning and research. The Foundation invests and manages donations for these sub-trusts, distributing the profit back to them.

We also have a Heritage Fund that makes sure our oldest and best-known buildings are preserved for future generations.

We take the privacy of your information and financial security very seriously. The online donation form has electronic security measures to protect your credit card and other information.

How much money should I give?

That decision is entirely up to you. Any donation you make will be valued and appreciated, and will make a tangible difference to Massey’s work.

New Zealand resident taxpayers donating to a charity receive a 33.3 per cent rebate on their donation. For example, if you make a gift of $15,000, it will cost you only $10,000 once the $5,000 rebate is taken into consideration.
