Hardship scholarships

Bailey Bequest bursary

The Bailey Bequest Bursary is intended to support Massey University postgraduate students who suffer general hardship or unforeseen changes in their financial circumstances during the course of their first postgraduate programme of study.

Bootten Bequest bursaries

Bootten Bequest Bursaries are available to full time Massey University students in their first year of an undergraduate degree who are in difficult financial situation. Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship, and have a good academic record.

David Levene Foundation Bursaries

David Levene Foundation Bursaries are available to students undertaking full-time study towards a Business or Sciences diploma or degree at Massey University, and who would otherwise be unable to study due to financial hardship.

Grant in Aid for Students with Disabilities

The Grant in Aid for Students with Disabilities is intended to assist students with disability whose academic progress at Massey University has, or is going to be, seriously impeded by extraordinary financial barriers linked to their disability.

H & VG McNeill Extramural Fund

H & V G McNeill Extramural Fund is available to assist any extramural student (but preferably any descended from Pacific Island peoples) in need of financial assistance to continue study at Massey University.

J McLennan Bursary

The J McLennan Bursary provides assistance to students who have successfully completed a minimum of 105 credits and are continuing to study in their first undergraduate degree at Massey University and are in need of financial assistance.

Massey University Summer Study Hardship Bursary

The Massey University Summer Study Hardship Bursary provides assistance to undergraduate or postgraduate students studying papers in semester three who will have successfully completed a minimum of 120 credits by the end of S2 in the year of application and are in need of financial assistance.

 

Massey University Doctoral Hardship Bursary

Available to assist Doctoral students who can demonstrate that they are suffering hardship or unforeseen changes in their financial circumstances during an existing programme of study

.Peter Collett Extramural Bursary

The Peter Collett Extramural Bursary provides assistance to extramural students in financial need who have successfully completed at least 30 credits and are continuing to study extramurally in a first undergraduate degree at Massey University.
