A number of scholarships are available at Massey University to assist students with fees and living expenses if they are studying towards a degree in engineering. For further details on each scholarship, click on the title of the relevant scholarship.

Available to help women entering their first year of full time study to undertake undergraduate study for degrees in engineering and technology at New Zealand universities. Open to students who are commencing their fourth year of study in the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours programme and are normally resident in New Zealand. Applicants must be majoring in one of those areas listed in the regulations. Applications close 30 March. Applications can be downloaded from the Massey website
Open to domestic students who are currently in Year 13 at a school in NZ studying NCEA Level 3 or equivalent in Mathematics with Calculus, Physics and perhaps also Chemistry (depending on the major you wish to study). Open to students who are New Zealand citizens a who are enrolled in the Massey University Bachelor of Engineering with Honours and who has, at the time of the award, completed or been exempted from the First Professional year of study. Open to students in their penultimate year of study (yr 3 of a 4 year degree) towards a Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) or Bachelor of Science with Honours (Computer Science) with a focus on Software Engineering. Applications close 31 July. Applications can be downloaded from the Massey website
Available to undergraduate and honours students for one year to assist them to undertake full-time studies in the fields of science, economics, engineering and related fields with a specific interest in the energy needs of New Zealand. Applications close 31 March. Applications can be downloaded from the Massey website
Available to students who are engaged in projects that are related to the advancement of Technology within BE(Hons), or BDes(Hons) at undergraduate level; and within the areas of Health, Nursing or Built Environment / Construction at postgraduate level. Applications close 31 March. Applications can be downloaded from the Massey website
Students living in the Manawatu-Wanganui, Ruapehu, Rangitikei, Tararua and Horowhenua Region, studying undergrad level, enrolled internally or extramurally in the following fields: Resource mngt, river and drainage engineering, and environmental planning. Applications usually close in March each year. Information regarding the scholarship is available from Horizons website (click on People and careers, Grants and sponsorship, Don Linklater Memorial Bursary). This site will advise when it is next available for award.
Open to current YR 13 NZ citizens or permanent residents who intend enrolling in a Bachelor of Information Sciences or Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) at Massey University. Applications close 30 November. Applications can be downloaded from the Massey website
For students completing research in an approved institution, in a field of study which will be of direct benefit to NZ and its people. The Todd Foundation Awards for Excellence are available in three categories: 1)Science and Technology (includes Agriculture and Conservation); 2)Engineering and Manufacturing (includes Architecture and Design); 3)Business and Commerce. For students studying either a Masterate or Doctorate at a NZ University in either innovation and product development, or bioprocess technology. Applicants will have completed the requirements for a BTech, BEng, BE degree or equivalent, with honours where they are awarded, at a New Zealand university and in a field appropriate to their intended postgraduate study.
