Undergraduate language study

Sasakawa undergraduate scholarships

The fund offers five scholarships a year to students who are enrolling full-time in their first undergraduate degree. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage top students to continue with their Japanese study at tertiary level. Preference will be given to those studying a conjoint degree or a double major, but not at the exclusion of those who are studying a Japanese specific degree.

The Scholarship is valued at $2,500 for the first year, and $500 in years two, three and four (if applicable).

Their jobs are varied and do not fit the stereotypes normally associated with a language graduate. Hear what an accountant, digital marketing entrepreneur, international journalist, PR/marketing guru, international markets development manager, ESOL teacher, director of a rental property business and two students have to say about the difference Japanese has made in their career and life journeys. Japanese is the key to your exciting future!
