Applications are invited from students in the fourth or fifth year of the BVSc degree for a grant of $2,000 towards the costs of the current academic year.
To be eligible a student must:
1.Be from a family that resides in the area currently serviced by the Bay of Islands Veterinary Services at the time of application.
2.Have preference for working in rural practice after graduation, with a particular interest in production animal practice and be able to demonstrate that interest.
Interviews may be held in the mid semester break during semester one, in either one of our clinics, and applicants will be expected to travel to the interview at their own expense.
The successful applicant will be expected to spend time seeing practice with veterinarians of the Bay of Islands Veterinary Services during the year the scholarship is granted.
Applications close 30 April with the Scholarships Office, Massey University.
