1.This Study Award will be presented to a female student who has completed at least one full year of a two or more year course at a recognised University, Polytechnic or College of Education in New Zealand.
2.The applicant must be a past or present resident of the Hibiscus Coast area.
3.The application form must be accompanied by:
-proof of institution attended /being attended
-courses passed with grades received
-a one page typed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
-two written signed references
-a recent photograph
-two referees who could be contacted (other than signed references)
4.The short listed applicants will be interviewed personally, in late January starting at a time to be arranged.
5.The announcement of the successful applicant will be made in early February, and the presentation of the award made at a dinner meeting to be held in March (date to be confirmed). The successful applicant must attend this evening.
6.The successful applicant must show proof that she will be attending a tertiary institution full time, before the award will be presented. If the winner is unable to do this, then the award will pass to the second/third selection and so on.
7.Areas which will be taken into consideration when selecting the successful applicant are:
- interest in improving the status of women?
8.All applications received will be acknowledged.
