Antony Nevin

Senior Lecturer

School of Design

The focus in my creative practice is in collaborative, transdisciplinary projects, crossing boundaries between Science and Design. Specifically I’m looking at novel ways of using design to address Cancer Science, Aging and Metabolism, and Mechanisms of Disease.  The nexus between biomedicine and design offers a vibrant opportunity to connect different ways of knowing with the unique insights gained through scientific research in molecular and cell biology. I see the creative exploratory energies of scientists as analogous to the impulse I have as a creative researcher. We both investigate phenomena and interpret it through our distinctive ‘lenses’.
