Dr Jing Liao

Senior Lecturer

School of Economics and Finance

Jing comes to Massey having worked in China Construction Bank for about 10 years as a risk control manager and a money manager. Jing has taught Business Finance, Introduction to Investments and Advanced Business Finance at Massey. Jing’s research interests include privatization, corporate governance in emerging markets, political connection and expropriation.

Prizes and Awards

  • I have been awarded the RAGS grant issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia (MOHE). The grant was applied with Khaw Lee Hwei from Universiti Utara, Malaysia and successfully got RM 26,000 approved. - the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia (2015)
