I am a social and health researcher and evaluator. I maintain an active, competitively funded research programe in the area of gender, sexuality and health, and contribute to the SHORE & Whariki Research Centre’s wider public health research programme.

I have conducted research funded by a number of agencies, including: Ministry of Health, NZ AIDS Foundation, Health Workforce New Zealand, Alcohol Advisory Council of New Zealand, NZ Fire Service, Rule Foundation, NZ Society for the Study of Diabetes, Counties Manukau DHB, Hawke’s Bay DHB, Auckland City Council, Waitakere City Council.
