  • Three Minute Thesis Massey University 2017 Runner-Up. $2000 prize-money. This involved presenting at both the Massey University Albany heats and the Massey University finals in Palmerston North. - Massey University (2017)
  • Red Dot Design Award Winner 2017. This was awarded for the conceptual design project Lattice Disaster Test. The project aimed to create a novel tent structure which both functioned effectively and created a livable, pleasing aesthetic for the people in, and around emergency settlements. - Red Dot Singapore (2017)
  • Engineers Without Borders Australia Research Inspiration Award 2016. Recognized for contribution to design mentoring in Cambodia, supervising research, facilitating training in NZ, Australia and Cambodia and coordinating the EWB Design Challenge university course. - Engineers Without Borders Australia (2016)
