Subject Librarian

Kia ora, I am a Science Librarian at Information & Research Services, Manawatū Campus Library.

I am a qualified and registered information professional (MA, MLIS, CALT & RLIANZA). Since 1997 I have worked in tertiary education and public libraries in a variety of roles including information services, research skills development programmes, information literacy, electronic resources, and customer service (Palmerston North City Library, Massey Turitea and Hokowhitu Libraries, Wellington Medical Library, National Library of New Zealand, Whitireia New Zealand, and WelTec). During that time I have worked on Research and Ethics Committees, and supported staff and student research activities in science, business, information technology, health, education, and arts. I have worked with researchers at Masters and PhD level, participated as a peer reviewer, and supported a range of degree and certificate level students’ projects and work experience activities.

As a graduate of Massey University, I have first-hand experience of the challenges of tertiary study - and am here to help all students and staff. I am fascinated by new technologies, innovations, as well as exploring new ideas and theories. I look forward to working with you!

Nāku noa, nā
Yours sincerely
