Associate Professor Nick Nguyen PhD in Finance

Nick is an Associate Professor of Finance at Massey University, Albany. Prior to his appointment, he was a Senior Lecturer and Director of BCom (Hons), PGDipCom & MCom programmes at the University of Auckland (UoA). His teaching includes Financial Management, Applied Financial Modeling, Investment Analysis, and Risk Management. His research interests cover corporate governance, market microstructure and market liquidity. He was the winner of the UoA Business School New Research Excellence Award in 2012. His research has been published in many internationally respected journals including Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Banking and Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Accounting and Finance, and Pacific Accounting Review.
