Dr Rachel Batty BRM, MPRTourMgt, PhD

Senior Lecturer in Sport Management

Doctoral Supervisor
School of Sport, Exercise and Nutrition

I have extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across the disciplines of sport and recreation. My teaching incorporates blended-learning methods, stair-cased learning approaches, and student-success initiatives.

My research focusses on stakeholder insights and relationships within the realm of sport and broader health-based affairs. In doing so, I opt to primarily utilise qualitative methodologies.

I am a certified primary postgraduate supervisor, taking on students with an interest in the facilitation of sport. I am also willing to support students whose research may fall outside of the sporting realm, but may be interested in exploring a qualitative methodology.
