Prof Anne de Bruin MEc New Eng., PhD

Associate Head of School

School of Economics and Finance

I am the Director of the New Zealand Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Centre (SIERC) and Professor of Economics, School of Economics and Finance. My current research focuses on social, creative and women's entrepreneurship and innovation. I have published in leading journals including Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (ETP) and International Small Business Journal (ISBJ), sit on several journal editorial boards including Journal of Management and Organization, Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management and have co-edited several special issues including on social innovation and social entrepreneurship (ISBJ); women’s entrepreneurship (ETP). I received a Fulbright NZ Senior Scholar Award to research entrepreneurship.
