Dr Khalid Arif PhD, MEng, BSME

Senior Lecturer in Mechatronics and Robotics

School of Engineering and Advanced Technology

My major research interests include bioinstrumentation/biosensors, intelligent robotics and additive manufacturing (3D Printing). I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University West Lafayette, Indiana and an MEng in Engineering Synthesis from the University of Tokyo (東京大学). During my PhD, at the Birck Nanotechnology Center Purdue University, I worked on portable biosensors and study of light scattering from nanoparticles for biosensing applications. At the University of Tokyo my work was related to polymer resin based 3D printing.  Please visit Sensors and Robotics Lab website for more details about my work.
