To sum up my research in one thought: I study the numerical propagation of waves. Whether their nature be quantum or classical depends upon the problem's scale. Various carrier media effects - e.g. loss, gain, nonlinearity, or periodicity - can be considered, accounted for in the numerical modeling of wave transport, and shown to give fundamentally interesting and/or commercially developable results.
