Dr Frances Chua BA Taiwan, DipEd, DipSLT, DipBusAdmin, BBS, MBS, PhD, CPA (Aust.)

Senior Lecturer

School of Accountancy

Frances is the School’s Accountancy Undergraduate Co-ordinator. She is also a Harassment Complaint Contact Person for the Harassment Advisory Committee of the University.

Frances is interested in ethics and the professionalisation of the accounting profession. Her current research interests include corporate codes of ethics, accounting education and the role of accounting in corporate governance.

Frances is a lecturer in the School.  The teaching responsibilities of Frances lie mainly in the financial accounting area, in particular, in a case-based paper called Integrative Accounting. This paper aims to develop students’ appreciation of how accounting operates in practice through an integrated study of accounting sub-disciplines and other related business disciplines.
