Carolyn obtained a PhD in Finance at Massey University for empirical research on the capital market implications of resource consent information contained in New Zealand listed company accouncements. Her current research investigates the corporate financial implications of country-level environmental regulatory stringency and the causes and consequences of the informativeness of corporate disclosures. Carolyn is the paper coordinator for all offerings of the core Bachelor of Business Studies paper 115.105 Fundamentals of Finance.
Dr Carolyn Wirth is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the School of Economics and Finance (Palmerston North).
