Financing your studies from overseas

As a New Zealand citizen, you will only pay domestic fees. And while you’re studying outside of New Zealand, you don’t pay GST on the programme fees or non-tuition costs. You are also eligible to apply for:

  • a New Zealand student loan and/or student allowance
  • the Government’s fees-free study scheme.

Depending on your course, you could be using Stream to watch online presentations, interact with lecturers and peers, take quizzes, submit assignments and more. Have greater control of your learning by replaying or re-reading lessons you’re not clear about.
