At Massey we are commited to developing applied, real world opportunities for sustainability-related teaching and research. We do this by drawing on a wide range of fundamental science, critical social science, design thinking and business knowledge.
Researchers at Massey University form partnerships with local councils, central government, crown research institutes and private companies in order to carry out research projects.
Living Labs are a form of research collaboration where research projects, design and delivery are co-created between external organisations (such as city councils) and Massey University researchers.
We form research partnerships where parties external to Massey fund and collaborate on projects of mutual interest.
The Massey University research centres and networks are groups of Massey staff who work together (often with external partners) on research and technology transfer.
