U.S. Veterans Benefits
Eligible students may be able to finance their studies at Massey University with education benefits they qualify for through the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

The Education Benefits administered by the Department are:
- The Post 9/11 GI Bill
- Montgomery GI Bill (active Duty/ Selected Reserve)
- Veterans/ Reserve/ Survivors & Dependents Educational Assistance Programme
- Educational Assistance Test Programme
- National Call to Service Programme
Eligibility
To find out whether you qualify, visit the VA website here [link to external site] or phone 1-888-GI-BILL-1 (1 888 442 4551) to speak with an Veterans' Benefits Counsellor.
How much you are entitled to will depend on your service record. General rates are available here [link to external site].

- Institution: Massey University
- Programme Type: Institution of Higher Learning
- Country: New Zealand
- Select Programmes then Institution of Higher Learning to view a list of currently approved programmes at Massey University.
If your programme is not yet approved, request the Financial Aid Administrator to add it. This may take some time, so please apply as early as possible.
Note: Students receiving Veterans' Benefits may only enrol in papers delivered internally. Extramural papers are ineligible for Veterans' Benefits and students enrolling in them may find their benefits suspended.
Applying for Benefits
The Department of Veterans' Affairs will issue you with a Certificate of Eligibility. Send a copy to the Financial Aid Administrator and we will certify your enrolment with the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
Should the benefits you qualify for be insufficient to meet your expected costs, then you may apply for US Financial Aid under the Direct Loan Programme - more information is available here.
