Accommodation available at Massey University for International Students

All students need to apply for university accommodation. You should apply for accommodation as soon as you receive your Massey University Offer of Place.

Types of accommodation at Massey

Massey University offers a range of quality housing and living options including Halls of Residence (on-campus), Flats and Apartments (off-campus) and Homestay (off-campus) accommodation. The on-campus housing include meal plans or self-catering (cook your own meals). The University-managed apartments are fully self-catered.

Campus accommodation options including a description of the facilities

The bedrooms are single person occupancy and include a bed and study desk with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. A fridge, oven, cooking utensils, television and laundry facilities are also provided by the University.

Accommodation application form

After receiving an Offer of Place from the International Office, students need to complete the online accommodation application form to request and reserve a room in University- managed accommodation.

All new International Students to Massey University are guaranteed accommodation on arrival. University housing is managed and regularly assessed by Massey University.

Students under 18 years of age

If you are aged under 18 years old at the start date of your course at Massey University, you are required to live in university arranged homestay accommodation. Please refer to the homestay housing information below:

Private accommodation independent of Massey

If you wish to live in non-university housing, please inform the accommodation officer at your intended Massey campus of your intentions. Staff at each Massey campus are able to provide some support and advice for finding suitable private accommodation.
