The Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand recognizes the Bachelor of Aviation (Air Transport Pilot) programme as equivalent to approved written examinations relating to Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, Airline Transport Pilot Licence, and Instrument Rating. Under the equivalence approval, CAANZ also accepts the satisfactory demonstration to a flight examiner, of knowledge and ability in accordance with each flight test listed and prescribed in the curriculum for the Bachelor of Aviation (Air Transport Pilot) programme, as an alternative method of compliance with the Civil Aviation Rules relating to the Commercial Pilot Licence Flight test and Instrument Rating flight test.
