Meet the 2012 Conference Team
Professor Claire Massey: Deputy Chair of Steering Committee
New Zealand is renowned for its entrepreneurial spirit and spectacular beauty. Its firms have a history of punching above their weight - becoming world leaders in areas as diverse as film making and wine as well as in our traditional industries based on agriculture. A visit to New Zealand offers the opportunity to explore the strength of a nation built on innovation and creativity. The organising committee for the 2012 conference invites you to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience this country’s scenic wonder, engage with the world’s experts on the latest international developments in small business and hear firsthand how New Zealand firms lead from the edge. The 2012 ICSB Conference is being held in Wellington, New Zealand’s compact, cosmopolitan and creative capital of New Zealand. The city has one of the highest ratios of cafes and eating establishments of any city in the world and it regularly features in the top ten best cities to visit in tourist guides. A city of galleries, museums, sculptures and filmmaking, it has been dubbed ‘the creative capital’ and has recently been named the coolest little capital in the world by Lonely Planet. The venue, Wellington’s Michael Fowler Centre is highly-acclaimed for its architecture, design and location next to the city’s vibrant waterfront. It is in the heart of the city, next to Wellington’s beautiful waterfront, close to the modern national museum, galleries, shopping and entertainment. From Wellington you are also within easy access of the best scenic attractions that New Zealand has to offer. View this page in Chinese (Simplified) |
The conference is hosted by New Zealand’s national university Massey University and the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ).
