Master of Advanced Leadership Practice (MALP) – a new way of leading

If you want to become the best leader you can be and give your organisation a sustainable edge in New Zealand and worldwide, join the Massey Business School for New Zealand's first Master of Advanced Leadership Practice degree.  MALP is a practitioner-based postgraduate experiential programme designed for a changing, modern world. It is the only master's qualification in New Zealand focused on leadership. You will gain from an intensive and outcome-focused experience.

MALP classes run from 8.30am – 5.00pm on a Friday and Saturday mid-month on the Massey (Albany) campus or at a residential Auckland location each month for 9 months. In the first year two papers are run concurrently and the last paper is a 60 credit research paper about leadership in your organisation.

The next programme starts 10 May 2018 with a one day orientation followed by the first workshop.

Leading self, leading others and leading the future. MALP is the only master's qualification in New Zealand focused on leadership.  Make the powerful shift from managing to leading, gaining a deep understanding of yourself, your performance and your impact on others.
This MALP programme has been hugely successful with our young executive and managers, who have now completed Part A of their master's papers.
The next part of the journey will be a thesis called The Leadership Practice Report. Hear from current students about their experiences.
From recycled toasters to cystic fibrosis, you will be partnered with a Social Enterprise as part of your MALP experience. We are the only business master’s programme in New Zealand to take this initiative, culminating in a presentation report, with valuable insights and relationships for all involved.
Inspirational, international leaders and practitioners from the UK, Europe and Massey University share their knowledge, confidential insights and wisdom about the challenges we face across a broad range of industry and disciplines, in this new global economy of multicultural divergence.
