Where on earth am I?! That was my first question when I stepped out of the propeller-driven Air New Zealand aircraft at Palmerston North Airport.
My journey with Massey took me more than 5000 miles away from home in search of a chance to take my passion for aviation to the next level.
The Bachelor of Aviation Management was truly my calling. Papers like Air Crash Investigation and Airport Planning, made me excited knowing that now I was going to be formally educated by professionals (most of whom have a wealth of industry experience).
In Feb 2010, I completed my degree and shortly after was offered employment with Singapore Airlines (SIA) as a cadet pilot. I recently completed my final stage of ab-initio training, flying the Cessna Citation Mustang into airports along the east coast of Australia. The next stage takes me on to the Boeing 777, a wide-bodied passenger airliner that makes up the bulk of SIA's fleet of aircraft.
