Conference Venues and Wellington

Wellington is New Zealand’s centre of government and the world’s southernmost capital city. It is also New Zealand’s cultural capital. Vibrant and exciting, Wellington combines the stimulation and sophistication of a big city, with the quirkiness of a small harbour town with a thriving arts and cultural scene, superb cafes and restaurants, all in a stunning harbour side setting. PRAD 2016 Conference

The conference will take place in the iconic Te Papa, which is located on the Wellington Waterfront.  Te Papa is New Zealand’s national museum, renowned for being bicultural, scholarly, innovative and fun.

Getting to Te Papa

If you are travelling from out of town, Te Papa is just a short 20 minute taxi ride from Wellington Airport.  The journey will cost approximately $30 (one way). Alternatively you can catch the Airport Flyer bus which leaves from right outside the baggage collection area at Wellington Airport.  This is an express service which departs from the airport every 15 minutes and will cost you $9 for a single fare.  See map here.
