Welcome to the Eighth International Forum on Public Relations and Advertising (PRAD), one of the foremost international communication conferences in the Asia-Pacific. Massey University is very pleased to be the first Australasian host of the conference on January 25-28, 2016 in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand, with the support from other three leading universities, Huazhong University of Science & Technology in China, City University of Hong Kong, and Shih Hsin University in Taiwan.
The conference theme Strategic Communication in the Digital Age encourages worldwide creative and critical dialogue on the booming field of strategic communication, including theory-building, practice innovations and policy issues in light of the transformational changes taking place in our world, including the rapid expansion of digital technologies and social media. The conference aims to provide a platform for delegates from a variety of disciplinary, professional and cultural backgrounds to keep abreast with the cutting-edge research, exchange knowledge and insights, enrich professional networks and explore multilateral collaboration opportunities.
We invite your submission of abstracts, full papers or panel proposals and encourage your enthusiastic participation in the engaging and dynamic conference we are planning. The conference features high-profile keynote presentations, a postgraduate symposium, an early career researchers (ECR) workshop, and both English- and Chinese-language parallel sessions. Please revisit our conference website often for more details and updates.
