“A double major consisting of marketing and international business has helped me better understand the world of business, but most importantly it has given me a more specific and defined direction of where I would like to head in the future...”

“To be honest, I had never done any business-related courses in high school, nor had any interest in the subject. I studied art and design, but after getting into a fine arts degree at another university after leaving school, I ended up dropping out after a semester to go work full-time.

I thought about going back to university at times, but Massey University wasn't part of my consideration set. I was quite hesitant about studying there at first, cause in my opinion it wasn't as established in comparison to the other universities in Auckland. However, a friend who graduated from Massey championed the university, and eventually convinced me to enrol in a Bachelor of Business Studies there, after explaining to me the opportunities that can come from a business degree. I'm glad I did it.

For the most part, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Massey University. I've found the lecturers to be very professional and helpful, both during lectures and in their office hours. The content of the papers have also been very interesting.

Undertaking a double major consisting of marketing and international business has helped me better understand the world of business, but most importantly it has given me a more specific and defined direction of where I would like to head in the future. Apart from the academic side of things, Massey University also offers the benefits of very inexpensive gym membership and free student parking.

For those who are looking to study marketing, give Massey a go. I was hesitant at first, but looking back, it's been one of the best decisions I've made so far in my life, and I have no regrets about it.”
