“Lecturers delivered more than their fair share and ensured that the course material was relevant, the content was of a high standard, the delivery was interesting and interactive thus keeping class participation and enthusiasm was high...”

I had decided to be based in Auckland at Massey Uni. as it was recommended highly by former students for its content and the campus which encourages learning in a conductive environment.

Massey University was my choice from day one since I had decided to be based in Auckland. The campus, papers offered, other facilities and service made it the ideal choice.

My expectations were met when I first came for the orientation and for my first class. It was the beautiful, sprawling campus which was the first overwhelming impression, followed by great lecturers and outstanding facilities like the 4 floor library, post graduate labs, online learning and much more.

In the first semester it was Dr Andrew Murphy and second semester it was Mr Simon Cope who really stood out as they both encouraged class participation and discussion and active learning. The atmosphere in class was a healthy happy one which motivated one to learn, interact, debate and participate.

Massey is a recognized institute in New Zealand. Most of my classmates hope to be placed with good jobs as the name and recognition of a degree from Massey along with our talents will get us there. We are positive. The professional career hub team at Massey have been very helpful in keeping us updated with job placements business seminars.

Massey University is a research-based Uni. And hence the Courses that are being offered are both relevant and contemporary.

The Lecturer is the key link between mundane theory and application of course material to practical situations in the workplace. In this case, the lecturers delivered more than their fair share and ensured that the course material was relevant, the content was of a high standard, the delivery was interesting and interactive thus keeping class participation and enthusiasm was high. The assignments encouraged thought and debate and that the overall structure of the course fit nicely into the needs of marketing in the real world.

I would personally highly recommend Massey and any of their marketing courses to all prospective and Massey students who are on the verge of deciding should they take a marketing paper, or major in marketing.”
