Arshad’s research interests include Real Estate Development and Management, Property Evaluation, Portfolio Investment, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Sustainability and Value Management, Zero Carbon Building, Construction Health and Safety, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and Prefabricated Pre finished Volumetric Construction (PPVC)
Iona's research interests include the value of a piece of rural property, including both the value of the land itself as well as any improvements that have been made to it.
Research themes include open land, farmland, natural areas, forests, national parks, mountains, rivers, lakeshores, urban fringe and rural residential areas all make up the landscape that we describe as rural.
Nikki’s main research areas are Property Finance and Innovative Real Estate Development Finance. She focuses on the role of crowdfunding in real estate financing.
Her research project investigates the impact / influence of different institutional environments on the use of crowdfunding as a real estate financing tool.
Alan’s research interests include ground leasehold properties where the lessee building owner pays a ground rent.
Specific projects involve property investor (freehold or otherwise) leasehold valuation scenarios to understand purchasing behaviours with leasehold properties.
Graham’s research interests include Property Finance, Property Economics; Property Policy and Residential Property (Housing).
His most recent international book collaboration being the Routledge Companion to Real Estate Development.
Iqbal’s research interests include real estate economics and finance, urban economics, and economic measurements and index numbers.
His future research directions include the investigation of links between property markets and credit markets, taxation, demographic composition, incomes and the macroeconomy.
