Bachelor of Business (Property)

Location: The BBus (Property) is offered internally at Albany, internally at Palmerston North and in distance mode.

  1. Six compulsory courses in year 1
  2. Seven compulsory courses in years 2 and 3

    You need to pass the following seven courses (totaling 105 credits)

  3. Choose one further course in year 3

    Choose one course (15 credits) from the following.
    Note that Internship in Business is 30 credits.

Meeting requirements for industry memberships:

If you wish to apply to become an associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (AREINZ) when you complete your degree, you need to take the following two courses as part of your Bachelor of Business (Property):

If you intend to apply to the Valuers Registration Board (VRB) for registration as a valuer you need to include the following courses in your study plan:

If you intend to apply to be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) you will have to have completed the Bachelor of Business (Property) as it is an RICS accredited course.
