Photography at CoCA is studied in the School of Fine Arts on the Wellington campus. Our renowned Bachelor of Design (Hons) is a four year programme majoring in photography, catering for a multiplicity of photographic interests and career outcomes.
Photographic Contexts, Photographic Methods, Critical Studies, Photographic History and Criticism and Photography Professional Practice form the core papers of the programme and are the primary focus of the undergraduate degree. In addition, students may take electives from other majors across the College.

We also offer a Diploma in Photography, a two-year full time course spanning the major concepts and skills associated with professional and documentary photography.
