SVMC Postgraduate Study

The School offers a range of postgraduate qualifications from the Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Visual & Material Culture) which is equivalent to an honours year through to the Master of Arts/Master of Philosophy and Ph.D in Visual and Material Culture.

In most cases, postgraduate students will enrol for the year-long Postgraduate Diploma and then the MA or MPhil. The School can also facilitate the enrolment of the successful Postgraduate Diploma graduate into a related Masters programme within the College of Creative Arts, usually an MDes or MFA.

Potential Doctoral candidates are encouraged to approach individual staff members directly to determine if they can suitably supervise the research proposal that the student has in mind.
