The Bod Pod is an advanced piece of equipment used to accurately and easily measure your body composition. This is explained as body fat percentage – the proportion of your body that is fat, compared with fat-free mass. This facility is open to anyone who wishes to have their body composition measured.
The Nutrition and Dietetic Centre at Massey University (Albany) provides sound, practical nutritional advice backed by science and research. Choose from a range of services including weight management, BODPOD body composition analysis, women’s health, specific health issues, healthy eating for vegetarians and vegans, sports nutrition, early years nutrition and starting solids.
The Vascular Rehabilitation Clinic, based in Wellington, is working with people who have suffered from strokes or transient ischaemic attacks. You will be prescribed exercises to improve your health and well-being, in a safe, monitored and controlled environment.
The Insomnia and Behavioural Sleep Treatment Service is located on Massey University’s Wellington campus. The clinic is dedicated to working with people who have sleep problems using non-drug behavioural interventions. Our clinicians offer both group and individual treatment and clients can self-refer.
