About the Bachelor of Food Technology with Honours

About the BFoodTech in Singapore

Massey University's Bachelor of Food Technology (Honours) degree programme was offered in Singapore from 2008 to 2013 under the Singapore Ministry of Education’s Foreign Specialised Institution framework. In collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic, the programme provided an additional avenue for diploma graduates in food science and technology to upgrade to a degree qualification. Six cohorts of Singapore students were trained to be professional food technologists. In recognition of the good academic standing of students with diplomas in food science and technology or related disciplines from polytechnics in Singapore, Massey University will continue to grant credits equivalent to one and a half years (180 credits) to successful applicants from Singapore.
