Dr Nicky Stanley-Clarke MSW (hons), BSW (hons), PhD

Senior Lecturer

School of Social Work

Nicky is a senior lecturer and a registered Social worker. Nicky teaches social policy, as well as social work theory and practice. Nicky is a full member of the ANZASW. Nicky completed the Bachelor in Social Work in 1996. Nicky’s teaching is strongly rooted in her own experience as a social work practitioner in a variety of different practice settings including child protection; youth justice; public health and mental health. Nicky has also worked in senior leadership roles, as a project manager and policy analyst; and has experience in clinical social work supervision. Nicky has also completed her Masters and PhD in Social Work.

Nicky have been involved in teaching in the School of Social Work and Social Policy since 2005.

Nicky is married and has twin daughters.
