Environmental health

Understanding the contribution the natural environment makes to human health and wellbeing is increasingly important. Health services are focusing more on health promotion and disease prevention, and the major impact of environmental factors on wellness. Our programmes and research aim to protect the public from adverse environmental factors.

We focus on:

  • Detection and examination of different environmental factors and determination of impact on human health
  • Determination of risk associated with different environmental factors
