You can study nutrition at postgraduate level in human nutrition programmes, or take the clinical route offered by the Master of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics).
Postgraduate study in human nutrition and dietetics offers you the opportunity to investigate in-depth the importance of nutrition for optimal health and disease prevention. You will do high-quality research in exciting areas.
Study options are flexible, and they include internal or block course modes suitable for distance learning. You can study full-time or part-time, combining study with work and other commitments. Special topic papers can be tailored to individual requirements, and you can do research projects in the community or your workplace. Conversion programmes, such as the graduate certificate or graduate diploma, will allow students with a non-nutrition or non-science background to transfer to postgraduate study.
If you have postgraduate qualifications in nutrition or dietetics you may be eligible to enrol in an MSc by thesis only, or enrol for a PhD.
