If you are an Honours, Masters or PhD student at a New Zealand University, the New Zealand Mathematics and Statistics Postgraduate conference provides you with a supportive and fun academic environment to present your research as well as to practise presenting your work to an audience.
The NZMASP conference has been an annual event for postgraduates in New Zealand since 2007. It has been a platform for students to network and gain experience in presenting talks.
Attendees and winners of the NZMASP student talk prizes have often gone on to win the Aitken prize at the New Zealand Mathematical Society (NZMS) Colloquium and the student presentation award at the annual conference of the New Zealand Statistical Association (NZSA).
