Dr Niluka Domingo PhD (Construction Management), BSc. (Hons.)QS

Lecturer in Quantity Surveying

School of Engineering and Advanced Technology

Dr. Niluka Domingo is a lecturer at the School of Engineering and Advanced Technology, Massey University, New Zealand. She has been engaged in active research in construction waste minimisation, sustainable construction, building information modeling, and construction management over last eight years. She has published widely in international refereed journals and conferences and served as a consultant in several organisations. Niluka is an Associate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and a member of Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL).

Niluka has been engaged in several research projects including;

1. COWAM (Centre for Innovative Construction Waste Management), as a research assistant. It is a project within the framework of the EU ASIA Post-Tsunami Programme with the aim to implement the pilot recycling plant of construction and demolition waste.

2.  HaCIRIC (Health and Care Infrastructure Research and Innovation Centre) as a PhD researcher. It is a collaboration between existing research centers at Imperial College London and the Universities of Loughborough, Reading and Salford funded by EPSRC (Engineering and Physical sciences Research Council).
