Centres of research
Allan Wilson Centre
Taking inspiration from the unique ecology and evolution of New Zealand's native flora and fauna, researchers at the Allan Wilson Centre bring a diverse range of skills in mathematical and computational biology, genetics, ecology and evolution to bear on questions of national and international significance, from both applied and fundamental perspectives.
The Centre is one of seven New Zealand government funded Centres of Research Excellence (CoRE). Partners in the national centre are Massey University, University of Otago, University of Canterbury, Victoria University, University of Auckland and the New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research.
