Massey University's teaching and research departments are divided into five colleges.
Massey's colleges offer papers in more than 40 academic subject areas, extramurally and at our three campuses in the North Island of New Zealand. College research teams and individuals continue in Massey's proud tradition of research that contributes to economic prosperity and social wellbeing.
Examples in the 2008 annual research magazine included work with fusion motion capture and downhill skiing, studies of the engineering problems associated with IVF, and development of a robotic kiwifruit picker.
The College of Business is New Zealand's largest tertiary-based business school, with 13,000 students. Our finance programme has been ranked first in New Zealand and 12th in the Asia-Pacific region for the quality of its research publications.
The College of Creative Arts includes the Research Centre for Contemporary Fine Art and the School of Visual and Material Culture, as well as New Zealand's finest School of Design.
The College of Health will come into being in 2013 with three broad goals: promoting health and wellbeing, disease and injury prevention, and protecting people and communities from environmental risks to health. Join us and be part of something new.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences has nine schools that offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, plus professional and applied programmes that include emergency services management, nursing, and the new Institute of Education.
The College of Sciences covers the spectrum of modern sciences, including mathematics, engineering, information technology, construction, and veterinary science.
