New undergraduate Minor in Ergonomics/Human Factors (EHF) - a first for NZ


For the first time in New Zealand, there is an undergraduate Minor in Ergonomics/Human Factors (EHF). In 2016, a minor in EHF was introduced into the Bachelor of Health Science (BHlthSci) degree. This is the result of a substantial revision of the BHlthSci. The new EHF Minor is complemented by several other new majors and minors, including a new Major in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). One of the compulsory courses (128.200: Healthy Workplace Design) is completely new. The new majors and minors form part of a new way of thinking about health science and public health within the School of Public Health and the College of Health.

The Minor in EHF is made up of the following courses:
