Centre for Parallel Computing
Mission statement
The Centre will establish a platform for the application of parallel computing technologies. This will include the introduction of existing techniques into new areas of applications, as well as the development of new methods and tools. In particular, multi-disciplinary projects will be encouraged. The Centre will build up the necessary expertise in order to be able to provide services (including training, consulting and accessible compute power) to the College of Sciences and the University. It will foster the application of parallel computing in science and industry within New Zealand.
