About the Institute of Molecular BioSciences
The Institute of Molecular BioSciences is a very diverse Biological Sciences Institute with a strong research focus on Cell and Molecular Biology. There is a vibrant interdisciplinary research culture within the Institute. There are excellent research facilities available in the Institute including 'state of the art' facilities for Microscopy (MMIC), DNA Sequencing and Structural Biology. The Institute supports five Science majors: Biochemistry, Genetics, Plant Biology, Microbiology and Biological Sciences. Staff are located on the Manawatu campus of Massey University located in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
